  • 25.03.2020 - Osborne are working on site in a reduced capacity. They are doing the groundworks around Block A on the corner of Old Street and Bath Street, but the entryphone installation, landscaping and estate-wide works have been put on hold until further notice.
Background information

Redbrick Estate is a small estate made up of three courts, tucked away behind the bustle of Old Street roundabout. The estate was identified in Islington Council’s local plan as a site for estate improvement work. This improvement work aims to improve the current community facilities and bring much needed housing to the area through infill development.

This has involved the demolition of some garages, retail units, the community centre and the TMO Office to make way for three new housing blocks and an improved community centre and TMO Office.

Residents were consulted throughout the planning and design process, and NewmanFrancis have been asked to work in collaboration with the construction company Osborne to keep residents fully informed throughout the construction process.
