Prospect Place

Prospect Place (also known as Ferry court) is a development 15 individual blocks providing approximately 900 homes.  The blocks are bordered by the Cardiff Bay Link Road (A4232) to the north, Ferry Road to the west and Cardiff Bay to the south and east.

In May 2019, Bellway Homes Limited informed residents of proposed works to replace the existing cladding with a new compliant material that will be visually similar.

Contractors have been engaged to carry out the re-cladding.  The works are going to be carried out on phased basis starting at Pendeen (block T) and then moving on to Dovercourt House (block d3), Ducansby (block d4), Eddystone (block e),  Douglas (block d2), Davaar (block d1),  Caldey Island  House (block c), Breakwater (block b), and Alderney (block a). Scaffolding erection began at Pendeen in January 2020.  The works to replace the cladding across the 9 affected blocks are expected to be completed by September 2022.

A site compound and storage facilities has been established opposite Eddystone House.  There will also be some temporary parking restrictions.
