The New Festival Quarter development is situated between Lindfield Street, Upper North Street and Canton Street in London E14. The mixed development comprises of over 450 homes for sale and rent.
In May 2019, Bellway Homes Limited informed residents of proposed works to replace the existing cladding with a new compliant material that will be visually similar.
Contractors have been engaged to carry out the re-cladding. The works are going to be carried out on phased basis starting at Navis House and then moving on to Cassom Apartments, Boston Lodge, Passmore House, Moro House, Winchester House, Odell House, Lucerne Court, Mellor court, Kerencky House and Felix House. Scaffolding erection is programmed to commence at Navis House in November 2019. The works to replace the cladding across the whole development are expected to be completed by October 2021.
During this period, various locations across the development will be fenced off to create a site compound and storage facilities. There will also be some temporary parking restrictions.
